Crispy duck with oriental sauce (Bebek garing saus oriental)


1 package duck breast fillet ( I just bought it in Asian store, already marinated and bake it at 200°C for 30 minute)
For sauce:
4 garlic, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 red paprika, cut it in diced
3 Tofu (cut it in small pieces and fry it separately before)
1 tbs Indonesian sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
2 tsb oyster sauce
2 tsb soy bean paste (soyabønne saus/tauco)
1 tsp coriander powder
oil, salt, pepper
400 ml water(or more depending how watery do you want it) and 1 tbs corn flour (maizena) for thickening
Heat the oil and put in garlic and onion until it soft. Add paprika. Stir it don’t let it burn add extra oil if necessary.
Add fried tofu, coriander, pepper, soy sauce, tauco and oyster sauce until it mixed together. Finally add water and maizena for thickening.
Serve it with Asian basil leaf (laque/kemangi) and warm jasmine rice.
